Karen Blakeney
Senior Designer
Karen joined see see eye in 1999 and brought an impressive background – over 14 years of design experience, including six years as a senior designer with UPS.
In her position at see see eye, Karen has handled print and online design assignments for Acuity Brands, AtheroGenics, Colonial BancGroup, Delta Air Lines, Goodrich and UPS and recently completed an award-winning annual report for the Georgia Council on Child Abuse (now Prevent Child Abuse Georgia). Karen has won several prestigious design awards, including the 2000 International ARC award for the UPS 1999 online annual report.
In her previous position at UPS, Karen was responsible for the design and production of a variety of print collateral materials. Prior to UPS, Karen was a graphic designer with Protech Printing & Graphics in Atlanta and worked as an art director for both an agency and a medical marketing organization.
A native of Washington, Karen graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the American College of Applied Art in Atlanta. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
