Producing the corporate annual report is a challenge faced each year by people from diverse business backgrounds and enterprises. Every year, a number of constituencies must have their say in how the annual report should look and feel, not to mention what story should be told.
Because producing an annual is such a unique and often distressing experience, we thought it would be a great idea to put together a team and charge them with producing their annual report. However, to spice things up, we've elected to have them do it while sequestered on a tropical island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
Our team's goal is to design and produce an annual report for Kwality Widgets, a fine manufacturer of widgets and widget accessories. Eight contestants were chosen for the challenge. To survive on see see eyeland, they must endure grueling tests of grit and determination each week.
Interspersed with the usual tension that arises when eight people work so closely is a series of challenges to determine who stays and who goes. Each person's skills and character are measured as the team works to achieve the goal - to produce an annual report.
Those selected for the challenge are a group of people with roles vital to the success of the annual. We have Kwality Widgets' Chief Executive Officer, the company General Counsel and the Chief Financial Officer. We also chose the company Auditor and, of course, the Investor Relations Officer. We've further included some outside assistance: the Print Sales Representative and the Designer. And, representing shareholder interests, we've chosen the wife of the Chairman of the Board.
The contestant left standing at the close of the seven grueling tests of strength and determination will be crowned the see see eyeland Survivor champion!
