eye on > Making a Distinct First Impression
by Teresa Wheeler
Oxford Properties isn’t your average multi-family residential developer. For one thing, the company typically develops, builds and manages its own communities. In addition, the materials, workmanship and attention to detail invested in an Oxford community are significantly above par for the industry. The Company’s developers needed a way to effectively and consistently communicate these messages to landowners, residents and leaders about new projects being planned for their area.
Given the possibility that stakeholders in areas surrounding a proposed development may be accustomed to aesthetically average buildings or developers who don’t maintain a stake in the community, it was important that Oxford clearly differentiate itself from others in the industry. They approached see see eye for help creating a brochure that would accomplish that objective, serving as a leave-behind for developers as they met with landowners, residents and leaders.
The see see eye team worked with Oxford to develop content for the brochure that informed readers about this one-of-a-kind company, setting its people and products apart from the typical multi-family pack. see see eye wrote copy for, as well as designed and produced, the 9" by 12" brochure.
The inside back cover of the brochure serves as a folder, with a pocket to hold informational sheets about specific projects and cutouts for a developer’s business card. The combination makes for a customizable communications package that leaves a good impression on recipients.
