see see eye/VWA Wins Two Awards at AIGA Atlanta Chili Cook-off

ATLANTA, GA – October 25, 2008 – see see eye/VWA wins both the People’s Choice Award and The Best Chili Award at the 2008 Annual AIGA Atlanta Chili Cook-off this past weekend at Grant Park on October 18th.

This brings see see eye/VWA’s award count to a total of four at Annual AIGA Atlanta Chili Cook-off events. The theme chosen by see see eye/VWA this year was “hunters and gatherers,” which was executed with themed shirts and the selection of both a vegetarian chili option and the award-winning meat chili.

At the hunter’s section of the table, attendees were greeted by see see eye/VWA employees dressed in camouflage and presented the meat chili, which was surrounded by animal skulls. Attendees then passed to the gatherers section, where they were presented with yellow daisies and urged to try the gatherer’s fresh vegetable chili.

Later at the judges table as the hunter chili entry was brought for discussion, the first judge was quoted as saying, "it would be great on a hot dog, on nachos..."  To that the second judge was quoted to reply, "heck, I'd eat it on Captain Crunch!"

see see eye/VWA’s own, Randy Wilkinson, was the creator of the award-winning hunter meat chili. He is not only a gifted production artist for the design firm, but a force to be reckoned with at any chili cook-off event. Wilkinson concocted his chili from a personal recipe that brought home the gold only weeks earlier at the Miller Lite Chili Cook-off at Stone Mountain Park, which had more than 300 chili entries and 10,000 in attendance.

Wilkinson said he enjoyed the event and explained further, “There’s nothing more fun than waking up at the crack of dawn to make some chili with my coworkers.”
